Bill Foster: Pelosi Puppet - Part II

Bill_foster The other day, I penned an article related to our dear Temporary Congressman Bill Foster (my neighbor). In that article I called attention to the efforts by the Politburo (aka the Democratically controlled Congress) and the Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (aka Politburo Princess Pelosi) to block the bill on drilling for oil. I made reference to the fact that Politburo Princess Pelosi has given “permission” to Congressmen in tough districts to oppose her in this effort and wondered when Temporary Congressman Foster would be doing so.

A political hack for Foster, I mean a person making a comment on the article that called himself “Objective”, derided my article and pointed to the “bi-partisan” (read: gullible RINO’s joining with Dems to make themselves look reasonable), energy bill that is entitled the “National Conservation, Environment, and Energy Independence Act”, that Mr. Foster had promoted.

I got to thinking about that, and then I heard Rush talking about it today. So, I took some time this afternoon to look up the bill. Here is a link to the bill from Congressman John Peterson. Perhaps it is because Congressman Peterson received the “worst in the House” from the Republicans for Environmental Protection, that he feels the need to be more “bipartisan”.

Here are a few little tidbits from the proposed legislation:

To be honest, there are a number of things in the bill that are good and well thought out, which deserve praise. There is funding for research into alternative fuel sources that are needed. I don’t know if I would personally agree with all of them, but overall, I think it is a step in the right direction.


However, to call this a bill that would allow drilling on the outer continental shelf is just complete hogwash. If a particular state wanted to ban drilling, they could. Think NIMBY on a state-wide level.

What Temporary Congressman Foster needs to do is to yank back on those puppet strings that Nancy Pelosi is controlling him with and tell her to allow honest debate on drilling. The Politburo Princess has made it known that she and the Democrats are going to keep everything bottled up until they think they will take control of the White House and increase their control of Congress. This is blatant politics and it is hurting average working people.

It is clear that the Democrats in Washington, including Temporary Congressman Foster don’t give a hoot about average working stiffs. They would rather hold an issue hostage so they can take all the credit themselves. It is brazen politics. For Mr. Foster to claim that he supports drilling by the way of this bill, which makes drilling MORE difficult on the outer continental shelf, is absolute smoke and mirrors.

Message to “Objective”. Please tell your boss, I mean Congressman Foster, that you are demanding real legislation that will actually help working men and women instead of getting the Congressman more campaign contributions from his puppet master Ms. Pelosi.
